1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup cornmeal
1 onion chopped fine
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 dash Tabasco sauce
Milk, as needed
Oil, for deep frying
1) Mix the first 8 ingredients together. Add the milk a little
at a time until it’s a sticky, but not wet, consistency. Drop
by tablespoon into heated oil and remove when a good golden
brown.

Hmmmmmmmmm…………… I don’t have terribly many copycat recipes, but I’ll see what I can dig up. My friend is much better figuring out ’secret’ recipes so I’ll see if she can help as well.
